Scrap Dancers show off their completed mystery quilts

Members of the Tarheel Piecemakers quilt club participated in a mystery quilt this year.  The pattern was designed by member Carole Carter (pattern here), and took about five-six months to complete. First, here is a group photo of all the participating members present at the Christmas party.

Carolyn Walberg did hers with a black background.

Here’s Velma’s.

Jan completed a table topper with a scallop edge.

Marti brought out the blues and greens.

Bonnie made two, one with a white background…

and one with black.

Sandy has an interesting border and edge treatment.

Bridget’s is so pretty in her brighter colors.

While our mostly bright colors quilter, Sam (pictured in the middle), was amazed that she had enough autumn palette to do a large quilt.  On the left is Janice with her white background, colorful throw size quilt.  Slightly behind in the red sweater, Marilyn shows her table runner.

Thanks to all who participated! Want to have some fun with us? We’d love to have you visit, so please join us at our next meeting.
